Washington Politicans Vote And Again Make A Joke Out Of The War In Iraq

Washington Politician's, Democrats and Republicans alike voted for President Bush's proposals on keeping the war going for an unspecific amount of time, and also adding more financial aid and support to go towards this bloody Iraq war.

Only a handful of chicken politician's voted against President Bush's bill and why? Because these handful of politician's have high stakes in the outcome of the decisions of President Bush and his cabinet of loyal supporters. These handful of politician's are running for the presidency or have some other stake in the political circus.

More and more men and women are coming home in body bags and still Washington politician's continue to vote for it, fund it, and support the war regardless of deaths of human beings.

I would like to see everyone of the politician's who voted to extend the war and fund it to have their children or loved ones or even themselves go to Iraq and relieve the women and men who have been fighting there. Yes, I would like to see them or their families and friends who these politician's love so dearly go to Iraq for "the cause". Maybe then these politician's will begin to empathize with human beings if they put themselves in their shoes.

My two sons are teenagers who will soon be eligible to enlist in the armed services. I as their mother will strongly urge the two of them to never enlist in the military or be a part of this military madness and war that is based on money, greed, oil and more oil.

If there is a draft and my sons are drafted I will help them do whatever it takes to avoid the draft, even if it takes them going to another country, I will help them in any way they would want me to. If this makes me unpatriotic, so be it. At least my son's will be safe and not have to be in a battle which is as senseless as the vietnam war was.

I am so disgusted with the politician's in every political realm. The only politician I might consider voting for is John Edwards and even he has contradictory statements and has been hypocritical when it comes to the war, however, after hearing him speak on "Meet the Press" and other talk shows I believe he is sorry for his past votes and beliefs on the war and will try and end the war.

Everyone stay tuned to the political circus in your hometown, and Washington. The circus players want us all to stay tuned to their political mess that is costing the tax payers lots and lots of monies and will continue to cost money long after the war has ended when the payoffs will truly begin.
